In Romans 15:20, Paul said he made it his “ambition to preach the gospel, not where Christ has already been named.” Have you ever wondered what that was like? On this mission trip, you will have the opportunity to do much of the same thing! The Tanga Region is home to the Digo tribe who have never heard a clear presentation of the Gospel. The Digo people and local tribes in this area have many ancestral beliefs, with the Islamic religion being the most dominant. Each Digo member was born into the Islamic belief and have not heard of the saving power of Jesus Christ.

During this trip, each person will each have their own personal translator who will be working beside them daily as they go out into the mission field. During the day, you will be sharing Bible stories, sharing the Gospel, and doing discipleship with the new believers.

Anyone who is interested in this trip needs to be able to share Bible stories, the Gospel, and lead in discipleship!
