Yoro, a city in northwestern Honduras is situated in the highlands at an elevation of 1,837 feet and is located near the headwaters of the Aguán River. Engage Missions is partnering with evangelical churches in Yoro, Honduras. Yoro is home to 10.7 million people and only 27% of the churches in Honduras are evangelical.

about the trip
In Acts 1:8, Jesus says “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you and you will be my witness in Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” We invite you to JOIN US on Mission in doing this!
On this trip, you will be traveling to Yoro, Honduras and walking alongside the church, building them up in Christ. While there, you will be discipling the natives and be doing physical labor by working on a building project for the church.
Also on this trip, there will be doing door-to-door evangelism to tell people about the Good News of Jesus! In the evening hours, there will be discipleship and teaching in the church to strengthen the new believers.
The church that we will be working alongside is named Iglesia Bautista Manantial de Vida which translates to “Spring of Life Baptist Church”. This church is situated on top of Mount Pico Pijol which overlooks the city of Subirana.
During this trip, men will be staying at the church and women will be staying at a host home. You will be going out each day with translators and church members to share the gospel.
The cost of the trip is approximately $1000 plus the cost of fights. It will be approximately $1600.
